Very informative and able to make use of some spare time during night shift.
Time has been put to a good use.
Thank you. I really enjoy doing these courses. It validates what you know and educates you on what you thought you knew but didn't.
Keep up the excellent work putting these courses together. I know they must be time consuming but they are very helpful to nurses.
I had the morning off work today and so I thought I would do a little refresher by undertaking the Graseby Syring Drivers course.
Then I went to work and did 8 syringe driver replenishments and told my colleagues all about my findings this morning. This has proven to be a useful refresher which has made me think about what we do and why. Habitual practice is not good and this has made me reflect on mine.
For people busy coping with work and trying to get a life this kind of course / support is brilliant, so keep up the good work.
Thank you!
Just a short note to thankyou for making this site available.
It is wonderful! Very informative and interesting!!
I intend to make a copy of the entire information sections for reference for other staff at work and will be encouraging them to join up and take the tests etc.
Thank you again.
I think this site is a fabulous way of learning.
I like being able to go through at my own pace, learn things I didn't know and not feel lacking by colleagues for admitting I need to know more.
I shall certainly pass this incredibly useful site on to my nursing friends who, like me, need to understand in order to provide a competent and quality service to patients.
It was a very good day when I stumbled across this website.
An amazing teaching/learning tool.
It is wonderful to be able to access information to help update and refine nursing skills online as this makes life a lot easier to obtain current practice without having to travel to large city centres.
Keep up the good work as country nurses appreciate this extra knowledge.
Keep these brilliant courses coming!
As far as I am concerned this is the best thing to happen in the field of cancer education!
I can learn at my own speed about a subject that really interests me, without having to get funding for a study day, swapping shifts or giving up my day off.
It doesn't involve me paying my £33 a day childcare fees, and I don't have to put my make-up on, or even go out in the rain!
I can do this when the children are snuggled up in bed! What more could I ask for? It's even free!
Thank you again for helping a busy mum / nurse keep up to date!
As I work nights it has been very difficult for me to update my knowledge as most training is always offered when I am in bed.
This method of learning has been such a help to me!
Thank you!As a student nurse hoping to specialise in oncology, your courses are a great opportunity to work at my own pace.
The course content is very comprehensive and I have learned things that will improve not only my practical training but my communication with patients and their families.
I shall certainly be 'spreading the word'!
The CancerNursing.org web site is a fantastic source of knowledge, especially for us students!
Rest assured the whole of my year and ward I'm currently working on will be informed of your fantastic site.
Thank goodness there are still people like you guys out there who actually want us all to continue learning!
As a student nurse I found the CancerNursing.org site very informative.
It is a great resource which I will use in the future.
Thank you very much for providing such a valuable learning tool online.
I work in a 10 bed rural hospital and as you can appreciate, there can be many difficulties in accessing contemporary training and education programs. I found the online format excellent and found once I started I could not stop until I completed the courses. I have gained valuable information that I will be able to share with my peers.
Once again thank you very much for providing such a valuable learning tool that meets with the needs of rural nurses.
I am thoroughly enjoying myself using the CancerNursing.org site.
Even after 20 years of nursing, these sort of courses are brilliant, as you don't realise how much you do keep stored in the 'old grey cells'.
I still like to think it doesn't matter how much you know. It is always good to keep up-to-date, as you could actually learn something new!
The most important factor for me is that the courses can be done at home in my own time, at my own leisure.
Keep up the good work!
An excellent site with lots of well presented and clearly illustrated information.
I have been recommending it to all of my nursing students.
