   Hi everyone

   We are delighted to provide a video on Hand Washing Technique. This is presented by Charlotte Johnson, Hand Hygiene Facilitator at Cumbria NHS in the UK.

   All feedback and comments are gratefully received. It must be noted that nurses should always follow local policy when undertaking this technique and that the video is for illustrative purposes only.

   Take care after rinsing hands to keep hands raised above elbows. This allows the water to flow towards the elbow and not towards the hands thus not contaminating the hands.
