Looking to hear from nurses with Paediatric Oncology experience ( will also like to hear from Paediatric only or Oncology only nurses with a view to offering training.
A prestigious private hospital in central London has recently opened a new unit (0-12yrs). It is a 9 bed dedicated unit offering care for Oncology and when more established - non transplant haematology.
There will also be the opportunity to offer staff rotation to another facility which has an Adolescent unit which also recently opened this year.
For the Paeditric unit we need:
1. Senior Clinical Manager ( x1) - responsible for managerial and clinical operations. Very exciting as it will involve actively leading the set up and commissioning of the new services.
2. Sister (x 1) - initially for the Paed Oncology unit. Must be Paed trained, with Oncology experience and chemo competent
3.Senior Staff Nurse (x 2)- Ideally will be Paed trained and Oncology experienced/chemo competent
4. Staff Nurse (x 2)- Can be either Paed or adult with Paed interest. Will have some Paed or Oncology experience. Training can be offered in either of these areas.

NB. WE ARE NOT AN AGENCY
I am presently working in the middle east as a nurse teacher registered with the NMC. I am a paediatric nurse with many years experience in paediatric nursing and experience in Paediatric Oncology, haematology and adult oncology. I am qualified to Diploma level in Paediatric Oncology from Leeds University in 1996 and recently as an ONS chemotherapy and Biotherapy competent provider via the USA, Oncology Nursing Society, in May 2008. The latest course is in Biotherapy and Chemotherapy for adults with cancer.
I would be interested to have more details of positions, salaries and the hospital concerned.
